About RJ Community CIC
Who We Are
RJ Community CIC is a not-for-profit organisation created to support Deaf people to participate fully in community life.
We exist to address the barriers Deaf people face in accessing information, services, education, and social opportunities. By delivering services directly in British Sign Language, we aim to improve equality, independence, and inclusion.
RJ Community CIC reinvests surplus into activities that benefit the Deaf community.

What We Do Our Activities
RJ Community CIC delivers community-based services designed to meet the needs of Deaf people, including:
Access to Information and Advocacy
Information sessions delivered in British Sign Language
Independent advocacy to support Deaf people to understand their rights and options
Support to access health, housing, education, benefits, and community services
Community Connection and Inclusion
Deaf-accessible social activities and peer support groups
Opportunities to meet others, share experiences, and reduce isolation
Activities that promote wellbeing and community participation
Deaf Awareness and Inclusion
Deaf awareness training for organisations and community groups
British Sign Language and inclusive communication training
Support for workplaces and services to become more accessible to Deaf people
Training and Education
- Training and courses delivered directly in BSL
