RJ Community CIC delivers training and awareness sessions that improve access, understanding, and inclusion for Deaf people, Deafblind people, and people with hearing loss.
Many Deaf people are excluded from everyday learning because information is not available in British Sign Language or delivered in accessible ways. Our training work aims to remove these barriers and ensure people can access knowledge, services, and opportunities on equal terms.
What we offer
Deaf-accessible training delivered in British Sign Language or with qualified interpreters
Community information sessions for Deaf adults and carers
Deaf awareness training for organisations, schools, and community groups
Health and wellbeing information sessions (for example dementia awareness)
Support with everyday learning such as driving theory or digital skills
Tailored sessions in partnership with local services
All sessions are designed to be practical, inclusive, and relevant to real life. We work closely with Deaf people to ensure our training reflects lived experience and genuine need.
